The Aspire2create European partnership held the third partners meeting and a masterclass in London from 12th-14th November to discuss of the validation of competences for creative practitioners. Over 25 people from Materahub, Regional Development Agency Senec-Pezinok, Kau Academy, Rinova and Prostor Plus attended at Collage Arts in Wood Green London and explored a number of issues concerned with the use and adaptation of the Euro-Aspire Framework, including the recognition of non-formal learning in the creative industries and questions of terminology, assessment and validation. They also reviewed the use of an Online Learning Management System which is being testing by the pilot group. The three days concluded with an opportunity to visit the Chocolate Factory Open Studios, a public event that Collage Arts run annually in November attracting over 10,000 visitors, which provided an ideal location to learn about what the artistic communities within the Chocolate Factory, disseminate information about the project and the work so far.
